Ace Designers, led by three experienced design engineers and powered by a dynamic team of more than 500 members is one of India’s largest machine tool manufacturing companies. With a spread of over 50000 square meters, its manufacturing plants, located in Bangalore, India, are equipped with state of the art technology to deliver large scale high quality products.

Ace Designers, was founded in 1979 as a design-consulting firm. Initially, the team developed product designs for various machine tools including special purpose machines. Three years hence, in 1982, Ace stepped into the world of manufacturing with a range of special purpose import substitution machines for the I. C. Engine valve Industry.

Since then, Ace has rapidly grown to become India’s largest manufacturer of CNC turning centres and has remained the undisputed leader for nearly two decades. With a strategic focus on manufacturing of CNC turning centres, Ace has developed a wide range of indigenous cost effective products to meet the changing needs of its customers. Ace has ensured product excellence through quality driven manufacturing processes supported by meticulously planned world class infrastructure.

Mr. Shrinivas G Shirgurkar obtained degree in Batchelor of Engineering - Mechanical in the year 1970 and joined as an Design Engineer at CMTI in 1970. He left the service in the year 1979 and promoted Ace designers After serving for nine year.

Ace Designers has won several awards at National level under the leadership of Mr. Shrinivas G. Shirgurkar that include The Best Small Scale Entrepreneur – 1st Prize in the year 1986. Mr. Shrinivas G. Shirgurkar was felicitated by the Government of Karnataka on the occasion of Suvarna Karnataka celebrations in 2008.

Mr. Benedict Machado did his graduation in Mechanical Engineering in the year 1970 and started his career as Design Engineer with CMTI in 1970. He left CMTI in the year 1979 and started Ace Designers Limited.

Under the leadership of Mr. Machado, Ace Designers Limited have introduced a number of significant innovations in its products.

Mr. Machado has won DSIR National Award for R&D efforts in Mechanical Engineering Industries instituted by Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology for the year 1995. The machines designed and manufactured under the leadership of Mr. Benedict Machado have won several awards at various international exhibitions - IMTEX.

Mr. B. Raghavendra is a commerce graduate and started his career as accountant with the Company in the year 1982 with the Company when the Ace designers was a partnership firm (PSF). His career grew leaps and bounds where he has held various positions prior to becoming Sr. Vice President - Finance & Projects. Today, he holds position of Whole Time Director in the Company. During his career with the Company for more than three decades, he had held Finance & Projects port-folio through his career.

Madhavi Chandrashekar born on 10th May, 1972 and graduated completed her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from B.M. S. College of Engineering, Bangalore in 1994. Immediately after graduation she moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in USA where she earned a diploma in Object Oriented Computer Programming from Wake Technical Community College.

She began her career in 1996 as a software consultant with a leading consulting firm called Analysts International. She gained experience in developing business application software during long term assignments at the cosmetic company Revlon Inc and IBM.

She is co-founder of Ace Micromatic Manufacturing Intelligence Technologies (then Pioneer Computing Technologies) and developed the first version of a productivity monitoring software which is now a well-known product called TPMTrak.

Mr. R. Srinivasan is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, BE (Hons) from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Madras University, in the year 1962. He Joined Widia India limited Bangalore as a works engineer in 1966 and quickly rose to Leadership positions and was its Managing Director till 1994.

Mr. Srinivasan has been associated with Various initiatives of the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers Association, particularly the establishment of the Bangalore International Exhibition Center.

He is presently on the Board of some Public and private limited companies including Sundaram Fasteners, Kirloskar Oil Engines, TTK Prestige, Yuken India Limited, NTTF etc.

Has over 50 Years of Industry Experience in Manufacturing Industries.

Mr. A. Shankar is academically Charted Accountant and Law graduate. He is practising as corporate advocate and has been advising various reputed domestic and multi-national Companies on matters relating to taxation, finance etc., He has rich experience in accounting, auditing, taxation and legal field.

Has participated in various National Conferences, Seminars and Workshops and presented more than 50 Technical Papers.
